You need a Google account that can see your classes in Google Classroom, which is usually your school account. Calendar and Tasks work with any Google account. Cadence also works with Apple Calendar and Reminders.

Cadence is a native Mac app for Macs running macOS 27 or later. There isn’t an iPhone or Windows version yet.

Ask your school’s IT administrator to allow Cadence. Or use it with Apple Calendar: add your school account under Internet Accounts in macOS and your Classroom due dates appear there.

Your courses, assignments and grades are stored on your Mac. When you ask the AI something, the relevant details pass through our server to the model to produce the answer, and aren’t used to train models. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

No. Access to Classroom is read-only and Cadence never sends email. It can open a ready-to-edit draft in Gmail, and you decide whether to send it.

Cadence is built to help you start and stay organized: it plans, summarizes and explains. Its chat is focused on schoolwork guidance and won’t hand you finished programs or essays. You’re responsible for following your school’s academic integrity rules.

Each day includes roughly 20 chat questions, plus your daily brief, summaries, estimates and weekly plan. If you reach the limit, chat pauses until your day resets and everything else keeps working. There is also a monthly cap.

Yes. Summaries, estimates and plans are suggestions, not instructions from your teacher. Check anything important against your assignment.

You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for. Use the manage-subscription link in your Stripe receipt email, or email us and we’ll do it for you.

Yes. If Cadence isn’t right for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund.
